We were blessed to witness a beautiful gathering of monks and nuns from four different countries at the serene and inspiring grounds of Empty Cloud Monastery in New Jersey. The peaceful and lush green environment, combined with the warm hospitality and presence of true kalyāṇamitta (spiritual friends), made this experience truly special.
As the Buddha said:
“Sukhā saṅghassa sāmaggī, samaggānaṃ tapo sukho.”
“Happy is the harmony of the Sangha; joyful is the spiritual striving of those who are united.”
— Dhammapada, verse 194
Indeed, the harmony and unity among the Sangha members created an atmosphere of peace, joy, and mutual respect. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to connect, reflect, and cultivate Dhamma together in such a supportive setting.
May the spirit of sāmaggī (unity) continue to grow among us all.
