Brief Resume of Venerable Unaliye Sirinanda

My name is Unaleeye Sirinanda, a Buddhist monk originally from Sri Lanka. I became a Buddhist novice monk when I was 14 years old in 1999 and received higher ordination in 2004. In 2014, I moved to the United States. At first, I rendered my service at Austin Buddhist center in Texas, then at Los Angeles Buddhist Vihāra in California where I’m living right now. Education – Pracheena Pandith Degree (2008) from the Oriental Studies Society of Sri Lanka Bachelor of Arts degree (2009) from University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka Master of Arts degree (2010) from Post Graduate Institute of Pāli and Buddhist Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka Master of Arts degree (2013) International Buddhist College, Thailand Currently reading for the PhD at university of the West, Rosemead, California. |
